London is incredible!  Only been here for 24 hours and I already love it!  A little on the smoggy side but regardless it's warm and vibrant!

I already have the underground nailed but anything above ground I have a long way to go.  I found my orientation office this morning (as I walked into the SHerlock Holmes statue right outside the Farringdon Station) and was quite early so I thought I would go for a bit of a walk.  Needless to say I was lost within minutes and made it back to the office just in time for the meeting after receiving many directions from quite a few people.  So far everyone is very welcoming and have a moment to chat with exception to the tube.  Grab a newspaper as it is being handed to you while going into the underground.  It is so noisy until you enter the tube.  Then it is complete silence and all you can really hear is the shuffling of the papers!

After the meeting I hit Picadilly Circus.  I can't wait until I get these photos downloaded!  I also cannot wait to get a job and have money to shop!  I'm not usually a shopper but I'm excited to find a style here (other than my jeans and t-shirt) as there is incredible fashion.

I also went to the London Victoria to buy my coach ticket to Edniburgh.  It is now confirmed that I will be living in Edinburgh until September.  Can't wait to see the historical city.  I then thought of going to the London Bridge but got sidetracked as I was on Buckingham Palace Street.  I decided to follow the road and hit the palace but was walking all around parks and just cam estumbling along the Thames River.  I later found out that if I would've taken one of the turns I would have hit the palace.  Oh well, I'll look at the map next time!

I got to see a little of Zone 1 (very little considering there are six zones and I maybe saw about 3% of zone 1).  I'll definately be back.  Planning on spending my last six months of work out here.. 01 Near Picadilly Circus
