This morning I woke up at around 10am. Marc has a really comfy couch and I always have great sleeps on it. His place is so cute and nice. I really like it here. Feels a bit like home.

We prepared an amazing breakfast of soft boiled eggs, left over spetzle, dolmades, olives, fresh bread, mustard, cashew and capsicum dip, strawberries and pears. We were both so full afterwards. It was so good!

Marc then drove me to the train station to catch the 2:30pm train from Berlin hauptbahnhof. We arrived a little early so had a tea. Marc somehow managed to fit in a little cake too. I could hardly stomach a thing after the monster breakfast we had. Although I did take a little berry muffin for the train trip.

The trip to Frankfurt was good. I caught the ICE train which is Germany's fastest train. It took 4 and a half hours to get there. During this time I slept, listened to music, looked out the window, wrote some emails and day dreamed. The train was 20 minutes late into Frankfurt for some reason which meant that I missed my connecting train to the airport. The next train was also delayed. I think there was a problem with one train which delayed the entire system. I ended up getting to the airport almost an hour late. Thankfully there weren't too many people catching my flight so check in was quick and easy. Thank goodness this was the case because after check in I had to go through many security checks. My Indian visa was checked 5 times. One may think India is a little paranoid. I am so glad that my visa was accepted. That would be my luck if it wasn't!

As soon as I sat down at the gate, the plane began to board, over an hour early! How strange. So I quickly made some calls then hopped on the plane. There we all sat for one hour until the plane was ready to take off. I didn't mind so much..

Because I had the best seat on the entire plane!!!

This made my day. I was seated at the very back of the plane in one of 2 seats. Because the plane curved inwards toward the back, there wasn't enough room for a third seat next to the window like all of the other rows. This meant that my seat, which was closest to the window, had room next to it almost the size of another seat. Wooo hoooo! I could fit all my stuff next to me and spread out. Seeings I was at the back of the plane, I could also lean my seat right back without laying in anyone's lap. This was bliss.

What made this seat even better was the fact that no one came to sit next to me. So for my 7 hour flight I had 2 seats to myself with extra leg room. Yay! Best seat ever!

For half an hour I wrote a little of the blog and then half an hour later dinner was served. Being air India, we had rice with palak paneer and another vegetable curry. It was served with a cucumber salad, bread and a milky dessert thing. It was really nice and filled me right up. I was so thirsty for the flight and kept having to ask the flight attendant for more water. He was really nice however and each time we got chatting about India and some great places to go.

I fell asleep at about midnight for 3 hours. I was well and truly asleep when the interior lights blasted on and breakfast was infront of me. I wasn't entirely hungry as I had only eaten dinner three hours prior and was half asleep, but I didn't say no. We had fruit salad, bread with jam and honey and some tea. It was nice.

One hour later we landed at Dehli airport. Hello India!
