Yikes.  I'm scared.  And now because the Irish and English are relentless and already have me drinking too much.  Maybe that's what I needed, though.  Do it early and then just disappointment them from here on out.  Who knew peer pressure might be harder at 30 than 13.  Looks like us AEG reps are the lone Americans out here and boy, are they making me earn my spot in the crowd.  And the boys can be just plain rude.  :(

And, yes, I'm a monk in the show!  They needed 4 of us to walk across the stage at the very beginning of the show and the tour manager, dancer, prod asst and myself are the monks.  I like that we each are from a diff country - Germany, Ireland, UK and good ol' USA.  Since most of the artists do not yet know who I am, I'm sure they were quite curious as to what I was doing up there!

Our bus arrived this morning.  And I lucked into another great bunk - same spot as my last tour. :)  Managed to drag myself out of bed this morning to run my 3 miles.  Which I was trying to defend myself with last night as I was being harassed for drinking a water (one water to 4 beers and half shot tequila, mind you).  I probably had 4 guys ask me if I ran this a.m. and another that said, heard you went running.  Obviously not the norm around here.  One guy has said we'll see if you're still running after 3 months on a bus with us.  Sounds like a challenge to me and nothing's going to keep me more motivated than comments like that!!  Suckas!

New phrases are already bouncing in my head - across the carpark (parking lot), straight away (right away), and of course, lots of cheers!

Hope my Seymour peeps are having a blast at Oktoberfest!

hugs from your slightly lonely friend
