My first time driving a car in a month was a cute little rental from Charlotte to Virginia Beach.  Great drive, including nice hour long chat with a friend.

It was so good to see Sara.  We had a lovely dinner on the shore the first night with a beautiful sunset backdrop.  We ended the evening by walking barefoot along the shore, shrieking like little girls as we watched tiny crabs scurry away from our approaching steps.  Felt so good to laugh at ourselves and enjoy being silly girls.  It was a bit much when we encountered what we declared to be an over-turned stingray.  Eeeww, I shudder still at the mental image of it.  Hmm, need to get that photo from Sara!!

The next day, I spent a good 4 hours at the beach.  Ah, so nice.  Before I knew it, the sun was setting!  Sara and I had another nice dinner and strolled along the beach and enjoyed good conversation.  I absolutely marvel each time God places someone in my life that I simply click with and I feel like I can open my heart and soul and just be me. :)
