Yes, I was a bit giddy as I first climbed aboard.  Though it's not my first time on a tour bus, it is my first time actually traveling in one.  And then I was giddy as I climbed into my bunk to take a little nap.  Yeah, yeah, all veterans will say how quickly that will get old but for now and for me, I'm enjoying it!!

Similar to my ferry experiences, riding and typing/reading are not great combinations for me so I will either get used to it or get used to carrying Dramamine!

The crew has been awesome and sympathetic about me getting bumped.  No one seems to mind me traveling with them and I'm trying to be helpful when I can.  And I'm gleaning info where I can, too!

The bump from the tour has been an interesting hit to my psyche.  Though it was a shock and a disappointment, I truly was able to keep it in perspective. When I saw my counselor a couple of months back, she told me to make sure I figure out what grounds me.  I know now.  It's my faith.  And I love that it's MY faith.  Not a faith wrapped up in what I've been taught that I'm supposed to do/be or a faith because of who I'm with or a faith coming from fear of falling into familial patterns.  And it's taken this past year and a half of growth on my own...and then especially going through some recent heartache to fully realize that and come to a point where I can rest in my own faith.  My Creator is watching over me.  Only He knows the full picture of my story, and yes, I struggle with my humanity against that at times, but I will also continue trusting Him for it.

There are many positives from accepting this tour, even considering that I gave up the Canadian festival work.  I learned more about the overall costs and prep for a tour.  And though not enjoyable, I've delved into Canadian and European tax worlds.  I've started some good networks- experienced tour accountants, tax advisers, and people on the RTF tour.

And I'm ready to get back to Colorado and explore the beautifuls mountains in June!!  I'm envisioning a week of being in nature on my own very, very soon.

Best to each of you,
