Hello friends. It's been a long day - especially for someone who's not worked for 3 months! :) - but it's about to get even longer over the next 3 days so it's good prep. Waiting for merch counts on the shipment that just arrived and then I'm calling it.
I was chatting with a former colleague and she threw out the "so I hear you're working on our Canadian festivals." Well, I still don't really know much about the festivals and what I'd be doing at them but that's a good sign! I love the vibe around here and getting to work with merch. It's panning out as I expected and hoped with me being happier right in the midst of things. Doing what I'm good at and in a setting I prefer. Yay for pursuing dreams/goals!! And you never know what's around the bend. I couldn't have anticipated the festival world but it makes perfect sense and is a good starting point for easing into a potential tour lifestyle.
Got a chance to walk around today and check out the "Arts" part of the festival - some are still in progress but all look great. I've attached some photos to give you an idea. More thumbnails ...
