A feast for breakfast! After which we take a taxi to the airport for a short flight to Bangkok (7am). On arrival we drop off our bags before taking a lift out towards the city to the market.
What a market, there are over 8000 stalls, maps are available to assist, the heat and crowds are quiet overwhelming, but all in all we've a great day. We are surprisingly reserved in our purchases!
Back at the airport we are selected for entire bag searches! Afterwards a shower helps to make us feel human again. We've a class dinner, on special, including 2 champagne (for Ad), 2 after dinner brandies (for Fergus), after dinner coffees, 2 great steaks... we're well impressed.
Our flight is fully booked so we're lucky to get seats with extra headroom. Settle in for a long flight, departure just after midnight.
