Back to our French Boulangerie for a take away breakfast complete with Lipton tea. But this is tea with a difference it is served in a sandwich bag, tied together with an elastic band. Not only this but it comes complete with a straw to drink straight out of the bag!! Just like the locals do!

Our bus departs Hue at 7.45am and our first stop is at Lamp Co beach. Again its quiet dull this morning so our view is distorted.

We have lunch at the foot of a holy mountain in a tacky cafe. Fergus manages to squeeze in some shopping between ordering food and eating - no better man!

When we arrive in Hoi An we are dropped off at one hotel where we are assured an excellent room at just $10. However after checking in we are informed its not the same one we were shown earlier (despite assuring us it would be the same room) but smaller room with no air con. We kick up a fuss but they are unrelenting. So we just walk out. Town is not far and we're soon settled in a hotel costing just $8, with air con.

Nothing can prepare you for Hoi An. Fellow shoppers beware. This place is Heaven or Hell, depending on your view point. Each street, each shop is a tailor shop, occassionaly there is a bag/suitcase shop to facilitate overloaded tourists!! We spend much of today street-shopping. Its almost dangerous to stall too long as the shop sellers are trying to usher you in good price, I do you good price . One order made for a pair of trousers.

We've a couple of drinks and some dinner before bed.
