It's the "silly season".

The mid week parties started with Greenday- which did not disappoint.

Thursday nite is a Macquaire team nite out. Its quiet an unusual location (mind you, theres nothing usual about the build up to Christmas in Sydney - the heat, sunshine etc). Our first destination is Luna Park, Sydney's amusement park. I partake in some of the rides from G-Force to shock drop, dodge-ems and a once-off/will never be repeated Ranger. Some very shaky legs take to the marquee where we've a champagne reception followed by buffet dinner and drinks. The nite ends in karioke - need I say more!

Friday nite is another Macquarie Chrismas Party (apparently the big team!! Any excuse I say!). Tonite is much more formal. We take the ferry from Circular Quay to Pyrnont (great - v easy to get home), it's a cocktail event tonight with excellent views of the Harbour bridge.

Saturday night is Fergus's work Christmas Party (I told u it's the silly season!). An early start at 4pm, free drink on offer until closing. The guys took full advantage! A few pubs and nite clubs taken in on tour. Great fun.
