First thing in the morning, we head for Hollywood grabbing a Starbucks breakfast on the way. We walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame, its quiet surreal to actually be walking along the famous Hollywood Boulevard where we see stars names such as, Morgan Freeman, Tom Cruise, Drew Barrymore, Samuel L, Bill Crosby, The Simpsons, Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock etc...
Afterwards we take a bus tour of Beverly Hills 90210, home of the rich and famous. Beverly Hills is less than six square miles in size, its strictly a neighborhood of homes and shops. There's no hospital or even a cemetery in the city to remind the residents of their mortality. It has been said that, technically, no one is born or dies in Beverly Hills.
Among the stars homes we see, include; The Osbornes, Hillary Duff, Britney Spears, Al Pacino, Steve Martin, Danny De Vito, Madonna and Eddie Murphy
Each street in Beverly Hill is tree-lined, one variety per street
It is said that Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive have more stretch limos, shining Mercedes-Benzes, and sleek Ferraris per square mile than at any other place on earth. Apparently the Beverly Hills police department prides itself on being able to respond to any call in less than three minutes.
Our tour also includes a drive up and down commercial Rodeo Drive 90212, probably the wealthiest and most famous shopping district in the world. Shops include Versace, Prada, Dior, RL, YSL etc. Also, we are taken up and down the Sunset strip where the stars restaurants, cafes and niteclubs are lined.
We go for a drink in the historical Pig N'Whistle pub before walking around the Chinese theatre (imprints of Stars hands and feet).
Universal Studios City Walk is our final stop for the day, it seems fitting to go to the cinema here. Afterwards we take an evening drive through Sunset Boulevard, Beverly Hills and Bel Air.
