We grab some breakfast and enjoy a breakfast picnic along San Luis Pier watching and listening to the barking sea lions (approx 30 in total). We spend some time watching the sea lions playing, being fed, doing something that resembles yoga and climbing!

Further South we stop for a picnic lunch along the coast. This time we are treated to a private exhibition of six whales playing in the Pacific Ocean. They are swimming and jumping along in front of us and are no more than 50 yards away. Its absolutely fabulous.

We take a stroll along Malibu Beach basking in the late afternoon sun, before checking into a motel in LA.

We spend the evening in a shopping mall in central LA.
