Day 45 & 46
Las Vegas Round Two

I have no business cards. Yeah, I realized this morning that I'm going to NAB and I have no business cards anymore. So, I spent the morning making some quick ones in Publisher and then running off to Kinkos. There are a few key contacts here I'd like to have them for, and well, for the prize drawings too. So, most of the days we've been on the road we've been staying in hotels. And most of them have been in Days Inn and Super 8s. And there's nothing wrong with them, but we have been looking forward to the next couple days. See, has this offer that every time you stay 10 nights you get a free night anywhere you want up to $400. So, the next two nights in Vegas we've got a really nice suite in the Golden Nugget downtown. We're pretty pumped. The place is awesome. It has two huge rooms, two bathrooms, a wet bar, and well, needless to say it's a pretty nice place. So, after getting the business cards taken care of we got checked into the room and I headed off to the conference while Adeana and Ethan hung around the hotel. I won't bore you with the details of the conference, but it was great to see some new developments, check out some new products, and talk with some reps. After a full day of that I went to hang with a couple of friends from Advanced Lighting and Sound and Jeff Reynolds from KCC. It was so nice to get caught up on some of what they had going on and get some news about KCC. E and Adeana had a good day hanging out at the pool. They have a really neat pool there with a big aquarium tank in the middle. The tank has a whole bunch of sharks and big fish in it. So, you swim all around it and check it out upclose. But, the highlight is the see-through waterslide that goes right through the middle of it. Check out the picture of Ethan waving :-) The next day was a lot more of the same. One highlight for Adeana and Ethan though. They capped the day with a trip to the top of the Stratosphere and rode the ride up and down on the spire. He wasn't tall enough to qualify for the other two rides, but I still think he had a pretty good time. Although, the ride did jump a little quick the first time and knocked another baby tooth loose. It came out later that night.
