Day 44
LA to Vegas

We are really on our way to Vegas, but we figured if we are going to be near LA we may as well make another stop and check out Mosaic one more time. We decided to stop by the Pasadena campus to see what it's like there. When we were here before we checked out the one in Redondo Beach. Much like our first experience this was very good as well. Pasadena was a very different style of campus, but the people there were very genuine and the service was very authentic. I can't say it's among the best production I have ever seen, they had a number of projection issues on this day, but their character and authenticity more than makes up for it. At the end of the service we popped out real quick because we wanted to hit one more church. Don Miller was a guest speaker at another church in Hollywood. Miller is one of Adeana's favorite authors. He has written a number of well known books. Look him up and take a look at his stuff if you don't know who I'm talking about. I had never heard him speak before, but I was pleasantly surprised. He did a really nice job talking about Doubting Thomas. After that we went and grabbed some lunch, took one more look around Hollywood and Burbank then met up with Andy Dickieson. We had just a little time so we hung out at his new place. Him and his roommates found a sweet house in Glendale. It is so awesome having people we know to talk to along the way. After catching up briefly and talking a little more about LA we were back on the road.  NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) starts tomorrow. I'm hoping to get some more info about Avid (an editing company) and some other new product information for 2009.
