Ok, it was the second day. We got up bright and early. Ok, well, I did anyways. Adeana and E followed shortly after. We got a quick breakfast at the continental breakfast bar. I don't get continental, it sounds so...nice, but it's not. It always just cereal, some pretty so, so breakfast food, and well, ok, the one we were at this morning had one of those waffle makers, so they get some credit for that :-)
We had to be at a church in Chesterfield, MO by 11am to check out a service. This church has an assistant TD position I was checking out. We had a really weird trip there. Right before we got to the church a huge thunderstorm rolled in, the sky got very dark, the wind kicked up and it started raining, then it started hailing. Ok, now keep in mind that we want to live and work in an urban area. So, were already a little thrown off by the fact that this church is 35 miles from downtown St. Louis. But, then after the crazy weather at the end, we were wondering if this was a sign from God to turn around and keep moving. Well, we didn't. But after watching the service and haning out for a bit we decided to move along, it's not a fit for us, but hey no hard feelings, cool church for the area.
Since we finished up early we headed to the Arch. That was very cool. We got to hang out there, check out the museum and most importantly ride the tram to the top. Very cool view. After that we caught a quick dinner and then headed out for dessert at a pretty hot local spot called Ted Drewes Frozen Custard. It was very busy and good ice cream! That's all for today. We're having some fun and taking it easy tomorrow. Thanks for the prayers.
