I don't remember the order of everything we saw but one thing we saw was the Witch Museum. There was a presentation in a dark room about the Salem witch trials as each scene got lit up when the story was told. Then a guy led us through another part of the museum.
A lady gave us a tour through it. It was a strange house with low ceilings and weird staircases. The house Nathaniel Hawthorne was born in had been moved right next to Seven Gables so we walked through it too.
We also stopped at the oldest candy shop in America which was very close to Seven Gables. I got some peanut butter and chocolate fudge, which I haven't tasted yet. We ate at a restaurant for lunch that had a great view overlooking the water.
We tried to find Laurie Cabet who is the official witch of Salem. We couldn't find her so we walked into her shop quickly. Her shop was freaky so we didn't stay long.
We saw "Cry Innocent." People dressed like Puritans from the 1600s were in the middle of Salem when they started it. They started accusing someone of witchcraft dressed as Goody Bishop.
When they decide to arrest her, they lead everyone into a hall for the performance of her pre-trial. Witnesses gave stories of what they saw and at the end the audience voted whether or not she was guilty. We voted not guilty which is not what happened in history.
We went to an Old Time Photo place where we all dressed up like 1920s flappers and got like 60 photos taken. We all chose a couple to get printed. The guy gave us magnets for free.
We went to the Grants for dinner. She had chicken, ham, fruit, blueberry pie, etc. It was good! Then we went to the roof of their condos to see fireworks for the 4th of July. One show was pretty close and we had a good view of it. There were many others we could see in the distance.
