Heading out from Wawona Had me getting on an early bus and transferring to another bus in Yosemite valley for meced. Had expected a grey hound bus at 2:30pm for San francisco and decided not to catch the 1:15pm Amtrak to the city since I wasnt sure I would get a ticket. In the end should have gone to the Amtrak and gotten a ticket. Appears the greyhound office is closed in Sundays and the person in the vistor center said it was up to the driver as to whether they were willing to take someone to the next destination on the schedule to get a ticket.
Decided I didnt want to risk it so headed to the Amtrak for the 4:30pm train. Found out I probably could have gotten the the earlier trainand saved myself some hassles. Also appear that while the amtrak rail line doesnt go to a lot of places they have buses that connect all over the place. Ended only spending 1 of 3 hrs on a train and the other two on a bus to reach my destination. These buses also nicer than the greyhound since they have as much leg room as the trains (ie lots).

Once again back in Cupertino from my hike. Needed to book all my flights and buses for the Grand canyon and Seattle. Plus getting from there back to san francisco and then onto LA for my flight to central america.

Once again didnt do a lot in Cupertino except one last Karate class. Also decided that I would try to get my chinese visa before leaving the states which meant delaying the trip to El Salvador by a week so that I could leave my passport in San Francisco and get a chinese visa.

Only other thing I did while in Cupertino was borrow Dans bike so that I could go to the post office to send a package home as well as go to a mobile store and buy a prepaid phone. Could of got a prepaid for $20 but since I have a nokia brick at home decided to but a quad band phone so that I can use it when I get home and not just throw it away when I leave the states (provided its not lost or stolen before I get back).

While riding around I just could believe how many strip malls there were. Seemed like almost every road corner had a bunch of shops on it selling something.
