Wisconsin.  Home sweet home.  Land of beer, cheese curds and brats.


We arrived in Delafield, WI completely exhausted.  The smell of Lake Nagawicka and the feeling of being at my parent's house refreshed me though.  It was so good to smell the lake air and see wide-open Wisconsin farmland.

Sunday we went pure Wisconsin style by going out to Cabella's and having cheese curds - - MMMM cheese curds, how I missed you.

The store also had a 'shooting range' so we all tested out our video game shooting skills.   I haven't done that since Duck Hunt.

Ha!  Surprisingly, my mother was the best sharpshooter with a score of 19 out of 20 despite my dad's years of deer hunting experience. 

Our wonderful visit in Wisconsin ended too soon and with a bit of car trouble (already)!  No worries, though - it was just a loose battery terminal.   Something we'll fix in our next stop - Minnesota.
