Adam here,Gails dashed off to the loo this time. Again thank you for all the inspirational emails. Of particular enjoyment were the POWER MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES sent by Kenny B with the highlight being....... " If we want things to change for the better,we have to be the miracle!" I am sure that has inspired you all :) Or as JLo said in some crap film we saw on the bus "Lifes to short to live the same day twice" well no one can accuse us of that. :)
We have been busy today and are booked on a trip to the Galapagos islands for 8 days,we leave at 8 am tomorrow. We are using a company that is recommended in 2 different books and we are paying a bit extra to get a better boat with a better crew and better guides. If any aspect of this trip goes wrong.............I quit :)
We have been here 24 hours ish now and what is there more to tell? Nothing really its just a another typically dirty city. We did see an old woman having a pee in the street, lets call that the highlight of the day :)Whilst trying to buy replacement camera batteries we were told the price on the shelves was wrong and obviously the correct price was 50% more, odd that isn't it.We didnt buy their batteries needless to say. OK i have returned from the bog, having nearly been killed by the manic traffic:) i just have to add....is it my paranoia, or is there a load of well dodgy looking young lads watching our every move ???? at one point necessitating a quick diversion in to a mobile phone shop when they started following us ! The massive urban renewal seems to have been a huge success :) !!!!
