Nha Trang was apparantly a rest and relaxation area for US soldiers during the war, and for good reason. The place is beautiful, and in addition to excellent local seafood there is a local industry of "fresh beer" which is served to you in gigantic two liter metal jugs, and has been brewed without preservatives merely days (or hours) before consuming.
A warning to those people who can't hold their beer:
We were really using Nha Trang as a pleasant overnight transit stop so we do not have a lot of photos here. However we did take the opportunity to rent a moto and set out on a journey to get to the seductively named "Monkey Island"... we were intrigued! See our photos for this entry to follow us on our journey.
