We arrived in Phnom Pehn after a six hour bus ride and i can tell you that taking sedatives for a bus ride that stops to use the loo every two hours doesn't work. We were both very very dopey at every stop and for the rest of the day which pretty much precluded doing anything even vaguely touristy (tylenol work well apparently Graham!). We got pizza and chips and watched crap films on TV - its like we never left england.

We also managed to pick a room without aircon and a rubbish fan and therefore slept in a small puddle. As you may be able to tell i wasn't too impressed with these couple of days - they weren't bad, still a damn site better than being at work but just ready for the beach i think. :-)

Hey guys!
Great to read all your blogs and glad you are having some good times! I hope they are making up for the slightly questionable ones! Its all part of the experience.
I guarantee you its not the tylenol making you sleep - its the diphenhydramine. Only take them if you have a good solid 6-8hrs of sleep at least ahead or you will feel like crap when you wake up. Thai whiskey works just as well!
Ive been up tae the Isle of Arran for the weekend for my mates 30th with Gav and Annie and Rose. Great times with sea kayaking, mountain climbing, golf, party on the beach till 6am and general mayhem. Drove up in Jeff who just made it in one piece. Early nights needed to recover.
