Today we were suppose to go to Tumibamba, but the road is closed due to construction. So we went to another nearby temple dedicated to the moon. A semi circle image has been carved in a huge stone & the moon reflects down on it at different times of year. The Inkans regarded the moon to be the feminine aspect of the sun, reflecting it's energy to us.
We all had the opportunity to lean our solar plexus against the Stone of the Moon & absorb the energy stored there.
There was also a lovely waterfall near the stone of the moon, which wasn't flowing very much at the time we were there. We stood within it walls though, honoring the spirit of water & took water in our hands, throwing it over our crown chakra for a cleansing before we visited the moon stone.
When we hiked out, Jorge, Joyce & I were ahead of the others & an eagle circled over us several times, then disappeared. The others did not see him.

Driving in & out of this region, we passed by Huaypo Lake - Jorge told us that is the lake where Shirley MacLaine had an UFO experience. I haven't read her books so I don't about it.
I acquired a Pre-Inkan ceremonial scepter from the Chavine era. We visited an antiquities dealer who Jorge knew. When I saw it, I picked it up & didn't want to put it down. After I purchased it, the dealer told me he originally had 3 like it. One went to Australia, one is in CA with "Madame MacLaine". This one is going to Sedona & I bet MacLaine took hers to her NM property.
