In the Galapagos we did pretty much every thing we swam with sharks, we saw boobies, we saw jelly fish. We've seen enough fish for a life time. We went on a five star cruise ship. We saw an octopus and how many sea lions did we see? Maybe over 1,000. We even jumped off the top of our yacht. (35 ft.) And we all did it. I jumped on our second day. My brother and my dad jumped our fourth day and my mom jumped off on our last day. My mom would probably never jump off if it wasn't her birthday. Our cruise had everything - a wedding and two birth days.

Our bartender always had a nice cold tropical drink once we got back from a hike, but when we got back from snorkelling we always had a warm drink. In some spots for snorkelling it was cold and some were warm. There where lots of marine iguanas everywhere we went. There were also some lava lizards. Lava lizards were my favourite. They look black and grey and females have a big red space under their chin. And they also live on lava rock.

We also saw lots of birds. Blue footed boobies, Red footed boobies, Naska boobies, frigates, penguins, flightless cormorants (endemic to the Galapagos Islands), and tons more. We saw so many animals in the Galapagos. There are even owls, rats, goats and so many others. Just think how they got there. Most of them came by sailers or floating. The flightless cormorant has evolved that is why it is endemic.

The Galapagos Islands sound amazing. I can't believe you jumped from the top of your yacht. Crazy! ... and so fun! Sounds like you've been treated really well on that boat.
