Machu Picchu was great and all but it wasn't what I expected and it didn't blow me away. It was amazing how the Inca's built that city with only hand made tools. Its almost like the pyramids but those are cooler then Machu Picchu. I liked how they shaped animals out of all there creations like a puma in the wall. And i liked how they picked the right mountain to build on because Machu Picchu is in the shape of a face. I didn't see the face because it was too cloudy and when we hiked Wyna Picchu we barely saw Machu Picchu the city because of the clouds.

The bike ride down the mountain, not down Machu Picchu this was earlier, was fun but bad because it was raining so hard and if you made one wrong turn you either hit a car or go off the ledge of the cliff. This was in Peru so there were no fences or mesh blocking the rock and mud slides so there were lots of rocks and rivers crossing the road on the road so most of the time we had to get out and walk around the rock slides and though the rivers.
And that is the almost all, skipping the 24 km hike and the Ziplining over a CRAZY river. The river was so crazy you do not have any chance of surviving if you fall in, none at all, this was like all the white water rivers I've seen put together but this was brown. I'm going to write about earlier to when we were just at the house.

The house was nicer than the one in Salasaka. The family had a puppy (2 months old) and a mean cat that bit me two times. The dog was fun although he chewed on everything and bites your fingers but she was fun. I played with her every day and wrestled with her in a way she didn't get hurt because of her shots. We met some new friends along the way. We met Colby the fun guy who loved carnival and foam fights. We keep on meeting potty mouths from the Netherlands this time. Paulina, who made my mom spend all her money shopping. Those were the two people we saw the most in our hostel.

We did not do much at our hostel. We went for walks every day to Plaza de Armas to get lunch and on the way there was a great cafe called Lets Go Bananas. They had the best sandwiches and the best crepes and juices and teas. We went there every day once we knew about it. The plaza has McDonald's and KFC in it with a Starbucks coffee. As well across the street there was a North Face shop, so many American shops in the plaza. Its a nice touristy town.
