Where I stayed
I was in school
I walked to school today…all by myself. I took the long way… because that way I know the directions:
Walk to the end of the street. Turn right at the tree with no middle. Turn right at the Chinese bodega. Bear right at the hair salon. Go straight down the less busy street toward the busy one and the school is almost at that corner.
I got to school a little early. I tried to check my e-mail, but apparently the keyboard looks the same but the keys are set up to type Spanish symbols
Classes went well. I love my instructors! My grammar teacher says my name about 100 times a day. I am mesmerized by how fast she speaks but also her nails. So she has a French manicure, but not the regular one. The base is purple and the tips are silver. I mean…why would she do that?
My conversation and culture teacher is a hot little number. She let me know in our first conversation that she was divorced and doing well. She kept repeating it until she was sure that I understood. She was limping a bit and she let me know that her legs were sore because she had been partying and dancing for the past two weekends… Ummm…She’s 60…maybe older. Love it!
(I want to still be partying at 60. If I don’t hurry and have a baby I may have an infant at home when I am 60 and still not party)
I love to see older folks that still get it in. I look forward to getting old so I can cuss people out and say a bunch of inappropriate things and then pretend I have dementia or people will just excuse me because I am old.
