I don't think that i have ever been asked the same question so many times as i have been asked:
"can you believe how fast the last eight months has gone?"
in the last week!
I usually respond quite quickly with "NO", but then spend the next 10 minutes stumbling through a response with the poor person who asked this polite question wondering what on earth i am rambling on about, the truth is that in many ways it feels like i have been over here forever, that this has become my life, but in other ways and especially when i speak to people from home it feels like i left just yesterday!
I guess at the end of the day it doesn't matter if i can believe it or not because next Thursday i will be on the plane back to Melbourne (please note that due to stupidly long flight i will not be touching down to Friday night). I am so excited to see everyone, i am sure it will only take minutes for me to slot back into the ins and outs of Melbourne life!
The last six weeks have been the icing of the cake as i have spent them traveling to the most amazing places, seeing the most beautiful things, and experiencing adventures i never thought i would. I could spend the next few hours typing out every detail, but i feel that i will experience much more enjoyment if i wait till i get home where i can sit you all down and force you to look through all my wonderful photos (don't worry my 21 hour flight will be put to good use as i filter through my 3000 photos- give me a break i have been away for 8 months)
Without trying to sound too cliche, i have really had the time of my life the last eight months, but with that being said i am so excited to be coming home and so excited to catch up with everyone!
I guess that is all for now and i will see you all very soon!

By the way i have some how manged not to loose my Australia SIM card so will be using the same number when i get back (of course now i have said this i will most likely loose it in the next few days)
