Hola Everyone,

Well its been a while since i left the wonderful continent of South America and headed up to Mexico. It was quite a shock to the system actually after being in South America for so long, it was so Western! I spent the fist few hours walking around the Supermarket just looking at all of the products I had been missing. However all of this changed when we headed to the Pacific Coast for three weeks and got to see more of the real Mexico.

We headed down to Peurta Escondido, where we meet up with some crew from home. The eight of us pilled into a ute, with boards and travelled all the way along the Pacific Coast from Peurta up to Nexpa, stopping at many wonderful surf spots and deserted beaches along the way. It was quite testing in the Ute sometimes with long days of travelling and the temperature hitting over 40 most days. However it was definetly worth it, we spent a lot of our time staying with little beach shacks, hanging with the locals, and yes getting back on the old Surf Board again. In Mexico we found that sharks in the water were not so much of a problem it was the crocodiles you had to watch out for. With one day Kate and I having been told to get out of the water as there was a big croc floating down.

After all that beach going and relaxing and was time for Phoebe and I to make our way to Cancun to catch our flight to Cuba. However we had to make a quick stop at Taxco (the silver capital) and stock up on our jewels. This was such a cute little town, set in the hills and filled with little cobble stone streets.

Cancun was as tacky as you can imagine, Phee and I felt like old bags amongst all of those American Spring Break Crew. We were only there for two nights, one night before our flight to Cuba and one night after. It was pretty funny for a laugh though. It really is like how it looks on the OC!

So anyway now I find myself in Guetumala, it is beautiful!!! Ive have made a separate page for Cuba, so feel free to have a read and a look at the pictures on that!!!

OK well I love you and miss you all!!!

Love always and forever Abbie
