The diving here is outrageous.
Between fish and invertebrates that represent every color of the rainbow, there are schools of fish a plenty and a constant highway of turtles cruising past the reef.

For the photo of the Pygmy Seahorse I used a close-up lens along with a 2:1 converter. If that means nothing to you, it basically means that the Seahorse is 3/4 of an inch long!! Really hard to find, but the divemaster Lito knew exactly where to go. Enough photo nerdiness.

Basically all we did yesterday, and will do today, was dive. A funny circumstance from the Korean group of divers that we were put with is that one girl is leashed to her boyfriend during each and every dive. Yes leashed. It's pretty ridiculous. Cultural? We think not, just weird.

Libby saw a barracuda eat a fish from the balcony of our room this morning. I have developed safe toilet syndrome. The food is spicy and delicious. And a bottle of wine costs $30 US here because it's imported (Tiger beer is only $3 so it's all good).

Until next time . . . sayanara.
Shake and Bake.
Over and Out.

Hi, saw your travel blog and the pictures taken underwater. Really fantastic.
Anyway which dive operator you went to Sipadan with? I am going in July, thought your divemaster is good. Do you mind telling me?

My email address is
