Well we're back to Florida now and heading through Jacksonville as we make our way back to Orlando to fly back home. One of Jacksonville's major products is listed as cigars, but I don't think any of us picked up on that one as we cruised on through.
This place was set up in 1564 by a Spaniard (as I have discovered that most of Florida was) named French Huguenots and like a lot of other parts of Florida - mainly all of it - Jacksonville was later taken over by the English in the late 18th century. I guess none of that really matters now anyway though - nobody knows what nationality anyone is anymore.
I know that I certainly didn't think it mattered.
I probably just wanted some cake.
