So this is a city that has been named after a dead soldier in the Second Seminole War called Orlando Reeves. If you missed the lesson at school on the Seminole Wars (I don't remember hearing this little bit of educational necessity) then here's a bit about the wars:
Apparantly the deal was that there were some people in northern Florida called the Seminole People and among other things they had a bit of trouble with the pesky American settlers coming down from Georgia. At the time, Florida belonged to Spain, maybe Juan De Bermudez built himself another ship in Bermuda and managed to run right into Florida - ending up wrecked all over again.
So the Seminole people were just sitting in their nice little part of the world that happened to be northern Florida, just about the time that the US decided to get into the War of 1812 against Great Britain
After officially giving most of their lands to the US, the Seminole were forced to move house once again, this time over to somewhere near the Mississippi river. Some of them didn't like this very much and they got a bit annoyed at having to give up their land for no good reason, so they got started on the US again and the second Seminole War begun. Sometime during this sequel in the trilogy, a guy names Orlando Reeves was killed and he must have been a really nice guy because the powers that were went and named a city after him.
More recently the city named after the nice guy has become a place of theme parks and tourism stuff that probably has nothing at all to do with anything Seminole.

. This eventually led to the US getting a little bit miffed with the Seminole, especially when they went to snatch Florida from the Spanish and starting flooding the place with more colonists. They had a bit of a fight and the Seminole were forced to move to a more southern location - where they found that they could not support their agricultural economy. After officially giving most of their lands to the US, the Seminole were forced to move house once again, this time over to somewhere near the Mississippi river.
