Last night I met two other ladies staying at the same B&B and made plans to see much of the city together. The beginning of the day retraced some of my same footsteps of yesterday through the Old Town Square and astronomical clock since the girls hadn't seen these sites yet. From there we pressed on and saw some great sites. By the end of the night I could barely put one foot in front of the other from the miles of walking and stairs throughout the day.

I have taken more pictures today than any other day. Everything is so unique and beautiful here in Prague. The architecture, the skyline, the sunset, lunch.... were all amazing today. It was also nice to share the day with new friends and experience these new things together.

We walked down the market for all the interesting goodies the merchants were selling. We also walked by some very interesting churches. Before we knew it, it was time for lunch and decided we wanted a somewhat healthier option and went to a recommended vegetarian spot. Vegetarian is not normally my thing but the spicy tofu sauté in a peanut sauce was by far the best meal I have hade so far on this trip. I know it probably wasn't as healthy as I would have liked, but the motto of the restaurant was clean and healthy foods and when I was done I felt rejuvenated and ready for our day. We didnt at all feel sluggish after our meal which was good for the many miles that laid ahead.

One of the first new sites of the day was the Charles Bridge. There are so many interesting statues along the side of the bridge and we of course participated in the tradition of rubbing a particular one for good luck or a return trip to Prague (people tell it different ways).

After passing this neat bridge we came to some of the most interesting architecture I have ever seen. There were several different styles and every which way I turned I wanted to take another picture. As we neared the exquisite castle, the views became even more intense. We could see the entire city from the top of the hill and it was breathtaking. Inside the castle was equally beautiful where the sunlight strew colors of violet, red, blues and every color imagined through the stained glass windows. Pictures just can't do this place justice.

Afterwards we continued are climb to the top of the hill where there looks to be a replica of the Eiffel Tower. I suppose we did the climb backwards with making the hardest part of going up the hill on foot and descending back down in a cart but it was a unique experience nonetheless.

We were told of a great cemetery to visit down the river a little bit that also had great views of the city. As sunset approached, we not only took great pictures but also enjoyed the serenity of the view. What a picturesque city.
When the sun had set, and our bellies once again rumbling we headed to a smokey little spot for a quick bite before heading back towards the bridge. We wanted to make sure we saw all the sites lit up at night.

After a full day and countless miles and stairs, it was time to pack it in for the night.
