What I did
Sentosa Island

Business took me to the far east again, this time Singapore (

With Beijing this destination ties as my favorite so far in the far east. Beautiful place, clean, friendly people, and organized. I had no idea that Singapore was such a small country; very small, but with way too many people. Traffic congestions are common place.

In the little free  time I had I took a walk one evening in the downtown area where I went to the Marina Bay Sands hotel ( and took a view of the area from the SkyPark viewing platform. From there I took a walk through the Gardens By the Bay ( area followed by a laser light show behind the Marina Bay mall area, and then walked through downtown and ended up in China town.

The following day I took a half day tour that took me to Sentosa Island (, which is basically a resort island with many attractions including Universal Studios. There I visited Underwater World, Images of Singapore, Songs of the Sea, and the Merlion experience.

Singapore is certainly on my list of places that I would like to visit again and get to see and experience more of. Lets see what the future holds.
