A3 C14 odometer reading 11407 miles. Interesting note: from when we started this ride in Miami, FL, to this point (arriving at Karens house) we have ridden 9999.9 miles !!!
Rusty and I had a good nights sleep at Karens place. She has a beautiful house located on 18+ acres of land at the very end of an isolated stretch of road. At night all you can hear is the chirping of the night critters. Love it !!! Reminded me of when my parents used to live in Leesburg, FL, where it was so quiet.
Thanks to Eddie (Karens dad) we rode out on SR57 to SR8 rather than taking I-91. We passed through the town of Granville (http://www.townofgranville.org/) where Eddie and Verna live
We departed Karens home at 8am and at 4pm we pulled over at a Red Roof Inn in Aberdeen, Maryland (http://www.aberdeen-md.org/). We could have ridden on, but because of the time (almost rush hour) and the fact that we were approaching Baltimore, Washington DC, and Richmond, we decided to call it the day and get some shut eye right away so we could then depart in the early morning hours and bypass the traffic in these upcoming cities. We had an early dinner at Applebees, and I hit the sack by 6:30pm.
We only rode 350 miles today. Rodes we travelled:
