Day 4 and the final day of my Catalonian adventure. We rose after a late night watching euro and headed off on our last day of exploring. We first went to Santes Creus monastery which is also a benedictine monastery but unlike the Montserrat monastery has not housed monks for over 160 years. We took a tour around the monastery before heading to a traditional Catalonian restaurant for lunch. I had grilled vegetables for entree and Catalonian sausage for main. And of course gelato for dessert. It was a fantastic last mela with the group and following lunch we headed to the Torres vineyard for a tour and of course wine tasting. After this it was sadly time to head back to Barcelona and bid fair well to the rest of the crew. Tonight I am just relaxing before my 8hr bus ride to Madrid tomorrow. Don't expect a particularly exciting recount of my first day in Madrid haha.

All round a great 4 days exploring Catalonia and just what I needed before getting back into the craziness that is my life :) this time next week I will hopefully be at a Yankees game in New York City!

I dream of a better tomorrow...where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned as to their motives.
