With my time in Italy drawing to a close I made some much needed calls home and then jumped on the train down to the port of Rome to greet my cruise boat to Barcelona and the beginning of the spanish adventure.

I arrived a little early so the wait around the port was easily as boring as any airport wait but I didn't mind, I've always got my music. Around 830 it was time to board the ship ready for departure. Unfortunately our departure was delayed slightly and I was forced to watch the sun set from the harbor, still a cool sight. Not too long later it was time to make tracks towards Spain. Thankfully we had good sailing conditions, unfortunately we had a slight head wind which meant we were around 2 hours late into Barcelona. The ship was nice with a good restaurant, casino, a couple of bars, pool etc. I actually managed to get a little bit of sleep and felt good when I disembarked the ship in Barcelona.

Definitely glad I chose the ship over flying, was a different experience and brought back many great memories from 2008 and my pre broken feet cruise. Would love to do another cruise in the coming year if anyone is keen :)

I intend to live forever. So far, so good :)
