Left Wellington after an hour plus visit at the Te Papa museum - what a fabulous place. Drove east towards Napier over a mountain range again with its hairpin turn roads and some lovely artsy towns within driving distance of Wellington. Because we wanted to make time didn't check out the Martinborough wine region. Don and Ruth McLeod (ATC) took us on a great tour of Napier before we enjoyed a Thai dinner with them at a local restaurant. That's a first for Easter Sunday dinner!
