Bade farewell to the Resurgence today and made it to Picton in time to catch the 1:15 PM ferry instead of the 2:20 PM we'd booked. Inter Islander rated our crossing as "moderate". We left one rental car on the South Island and picked up another in Wellington. It was pretty quiet downtown except for a 2 night rock concert featuring Alice Cooper, Ozzie Osborne etc. We took the cable car for the view and enjoyed a pub meal.
