Camping El Pino, Torrox Park
Wall to wall sunshine
We are living in paradise, or that's the rumour anyway. There are a lot of Brits here, either escaping the UK weather and credit crunch, or, living and working here. That means roast dinners on Sundays, Fish n Chips on a Friday night and afternoon tea everyday.
The other paradise element is that the campsite is situated in an old orchard. Everyday we walk around the site and collect avocados that have fallen overnight. So, I'm the gatherer. Dave, the hunter, kills flies.
Rose and Chris arrive late on Sunday so we'll toddle up the coast to Torre del Mar and camp for the weekend and meet up with them on Monday. They are bringing the bike bags with them so that we can transport the bikes to the UK. The biggest challenge at the moment is how to get from Heathrow to Harpenden at 6.30 on a November evening!
