Since this blog is primarily written by Sharilyn, we thought it might be a good idea to include a few things that are solely Brian.  Especially since he's so wise and full of information as we all know.  Watch for these from time to time to add a bit of humour and a welcome respite to Sharilyn's babble :)

Brian's Travel Tips: 1

"When embarking on a long journey with a partner who is possibly more, or less, excited about travel than you; the nearest blunt object such as a rock or stick, may be used to avoid unwanted confrontation.  Thereby creating a pleasant and silent travel experience.

"For those of a less violent nature, you may wish to resort to Valium or Rohypnol.  Which, when slipped into coffee the morning before flying can render a similar effect.  Also, the absence of blood makes border crossings and airport security much less of a hassle.

"Note:  it's a good idea whilst using the 2nd option, to bring a towel in one's carry on luggage to wipe up the drool."
