Where I stayed
Rock formations carved and sculpted over years of wind and rain create amazingly beautiful shapes. No matter what angle you look at them from, they are different and constantly changing as you walk along. It's fun to let your imagination roam and look for different images in the rock - kind of like staring at the clouds.
Smooth round shapes change and look like melted liquid waves flowing down the hillside. Then it changes to rough tall spires and whipped cream mounds. Ever changing even with close proximity with one another. Then freckled with tiny windows and doors where people or animals have lived. A wonder to behold.
I always hear people comparing this area to Star Wars, and it certainly is otherworldly.
So different it's hard to believe it just evolved this way. Instead, it looks as though a master artist carved it by hand. Or several artists, each working on a different valley and then corborating on the areas where they meet. A grand masterpiece on a large scale which no hotos will ever capture the feeling of being inside. A work of art that will never be shut up in someone's house for only a few to admire. A sculpture that will never be contained in a museum. Just a beautiful landscape for all to enjoy.
