Here we are in panama city and we're broken up a bit as we sort ourselves out to sell betsy. it's like selling our dog and it's the hardest thing we've had to do so far on this journey. we had a really hard time making the decision, but decided in the end it had to be done: it's time.
Panama city has some really beautiful places, and some really dodgy places which we have already stumbled upon (by accident!!). we'll take some pictures to share with you. Simon is thinking of coming back here after we're done our holiday to spend some time fixing up and re-selling properties here, as they seem to be in the right price range, and there is no shortage of beautiful old buildings that need tlc.
we have found an apartment in town and will probably stay there for up to a month. it's a bit beyond our original budget actually, but its a pretty nice place, and we should be able to relax and recharge there before moving on southwards. and it will give us a chance to explore the city and beyond a little as well as all the personal admin stuff.

Nice Title
We have a cook book called 'A Man, A Can, A Plan!' all about cooking with canned foods. Quite practical and humorous. Anyways I am sorry to hear you are parting with Betsy I was glad to meet her and impressed with all the work put into her. Well I wish you the best of luck enjoy your month in Panama. I can't wait to see the pics you post.
