Our pace had slowed by this point. we hung out at a couple of beaches around the bay of conception. we spent two nights at santispac beach south of mulege and 4 more on juacalitoa beach south of loreto where there was a colony of vultures sunning themselves every dawn and returning each evening to roost in the palms by our campsite.

unnerving but majestic.
