recently no major trip planning has been undertaken beyond the next few days. we've spent a hectic last few days  furiously (and with Linz sometimes in a bit of a tizzy) packing up the house in bristol and getting it ready for the family that will be renting it whilst we are away. Linz's sister Nicci and her boyfriend Darren came up on saturday afternoon and provided some much needed help with some last minute bits and pieces and then drove us to their new flat in Wimbledon where we are now staying while we finish up a few last things, say goodbye to some of Linz's mates and re-packing our gear for flight.

we were considering going to a west-end show tonight if there is anything on offer though the prices have been getting silly so we might skip it. We'll likely also be poking about for some gifts today and tomorrow. then i just have to get my rabies jabs and we'll be ready to go.

Speaking for myself it feels more like i am getting ready for a visit home and the full gravity of our major excursion has yet to sink in.

So far Lindsey has been rubbish with the blog, even when pressed, but i'll keep working on her and hopefully you will hear a bit of her voice in the pages to come.
