What with the flurry of last minute packing, and putting things into storage in preparation for our trip it is likely that this first entry would have been missed out, but i think it would be a shame to start the story of our trip after it had already started.
Tonight Lindsey is hopping off to london to have leaving drinks with her friends. I'm stuck in Bristol finishing up work, but Saturday we're having some leaving drinks here as well. Must use up all that christmas gift booze! Sunday we'll be leaving Bristol to head to london for some last minute preparations and our flight out of Gatwick early Wednesday morning (or late Tuesday night if you're reading this in BC). Here's hoping that both ourselves and our luggage manage to arrive at the correct location intact!
Lindsey is insisting that she lacks in creativity and needs inspiration to write something in the travel blog, but i'm sure that this is something that will become more unlocked, free-flowing if you will with time and after all she has been drinking heavily and paking like a maniac all week.
we'll see how future entries hold up, i'm sure much will depend on events and how relaxed and bothered we are about it. I know i'm pretty lousy at keeping jounals. Hopefully as this is the easiest way for us to keep in touch with friends and family while on our journey we hope to make an update a minimum of once every two weeks. I hope we'll be able to keep this interesting for everyone as we go along!
