A "Down Day" in Banff

Today was a "Down Day" – laundry, coach cleaning, grocery shopping. While Jane got the clothes clean, Jim made a necessary visit to a medical clinic in Banff Village. He got a nasty splinter removed from a finger. The highlight of the day was dinner out at The Evergreen restaurant, located in one of the nicer hotels in the village. We both had a spinach salad that included roasted peppers stuffed with goat cheese and pine nuts. The entrée was Elk tenderloin with potatoes and local vegetables. It was a really great meal.
