hi

Well it was a suprise in store when we wheeled the bike into Heinz's workshop, about 1500 Square meters of workshop and storage over 3 levels, I'm a bit green with envy. So our little problem was not a problem, we went to a local BMW dealer I got the parts needed (new seal kit and piston) only 50 euros, then it was back to the workshop where we pulled the bike apart. The problem is that the bike has stood for a few years and the seals had decided enough was enough.

A few problems with a bolt that had been locktighted in but eventually all was fixed. So we decided to go by train to Munich to look around. Rosenheim is about 45mins from Munich.

In my best german we bought a return ticket for 2 ( can I have two returns to Munich Please.)

29 euros later and we were on our way. straight into the Octoberfest crowds.

First stop in Munich the BMW museum ( well it was our wedding anniversary after all!) bit of a dissappointment very big building but not many exhibits all a bit to arty farty.

So it was back into Munich for a few beers and a look around, great place and great food ( is this starting to sound familiar)

Yes we have put weight on about I have gained 2Kg and Linda won't tell.

That night we got back onto the train and it was packed with very happy people on there way home from the fest.

Lots of singing and laughter in german, I managed to understand some but not all, still a crowd like that needs no translation.

Back to Heinz's to continue our mission to empty his beer cellar.

We have had lots of Bavarian foods as Irene is determined to give us the best experience possible.

We are staying in an apartment above the workshop so I can ´tuck the bike up each night.

see ya
