Hi again
Well we made it in one piece to Fussen in the Bavarian Alps, beautiful town, we found a B&B to stay at as we found that at high alitutude it gets cold at night.
Went for dinner found a good bavrian beer keller, I must admit i,m getting a taste for the german beer.
In the town sqúare there was a free concert, good food & good music.
The next day started a bit different a quick check, oops no brake fluid, so I headed off in search of a garage for a tin of fluid, in my best german I managed to get a tin so it was back to the bike and regain a front brake (or at least until it all drained out again) no probs just close your eyes Linda and hold on.
We went in search of the fairy tale castle Neuschanstein built by mad king ludwigg of Bavaira, What a place almost magical, I suggest you google the name.
A tour of the castle and state rooms, what a wierd place inside, the King was barking mad and in the late 1800's built this place as though it was hundreds of years earlier, dark rooms and religious murals everwhere.
No wonder he was taken to Munich by his physc, only to be found dead the next day.
We decided that our next stop would be near Munich where my friend Heinz lives with his wife Irene, leaving a trail of brake fluid along the Autobahn we set off.
No probs all arrived safe and no need to stop and change undies, brakes working. We hit our first rain as we left Munich and for about 1 hour it rained all the way to our stop with Heinz.
bye
