Hi folks

Well we made it to Holland after a ferry overnight from Hull, we decided to camp and try out our new tent hence the name.

All went well and it works.

Well the first impresssion of Amsterdam is not a good one a short walk from  our camp was the metro station at Gassperplaz, then a 15min ride to the centre of Amsterdam.  Well talk about graffiti we have never seen so much every where you looked. The centre of Amsterdam is just as per the post cards we even had rides on the hop on canal boats and saw the sights.

In the markets there was cannabis on sale everywhere even cannabis chuppa chups 1 euro each bridge

On day 2 we took the bike to Vollundam then Edam where the cheese comes from very very pretty and totaly different from Amsterdam, we met lots of really friendly people. We stopped by a big dyke for lunch but she asked us to move.

Our impression is great out areas but not on our must return list, Linda did not want a set of the salt & pepper pots on sale in the shape of a penis ( bit small I thought)

so its on we go.
