I have to start today with saying, "I MORE DAY!!!!"  This time tomorrow I'll be sitting with Dan and Lysse and I'm so excited--I can hardly stand it!!!  I have loved every minute of this trip(well almost) but for me the biggest excitement is spending time with Dan and Lysse.  We haven't seen them in 2 months and to be with them is the best!!
Well today, I woke up and Dave said he wanted to go for breakfast and he found "The Place" called Mattie's Pancakes and Omelets.  He used the computer to scope out the best place for breakfast and he sure found a good one.  He had crepes with ligonberry butter and I had crepes with powdered sugar and lemon and it was delicious!

After breakfast we headed north on 101 and enjoyed more of this beautiful coast.
We stopped at Cape Sebastian and even though there wasn't much to see we ended up visiting with a fun couple from England.  The guy had us in stitches telling us about the letter he just wrote to a swanky hotel that they had stayed at in San Francisco because of some issues with the valet service. The guy had such a dry sense of humor that was hilarious. What Fun!

Also wanted to show you another part of the shore we came across.  It's called, "Face Rock" and it was named by the local Coquille Indians because the protrusions on its crests resemble a chin and a nose--see if you can see it---
In Bandon we had lunch at Tony's Crabshack. Dave had a wild salmon burger that was to die for and I had clam chowder that was awesome!!

The cup Dave is pointing to says; NO CRABS ALLOWED

We ended the drive with seeing the sand dunes and they were impressive!!

We're spending the night in Florence, Oregon and tomorrow we head to Eugene!!
