On Monday morning, I got up loaded the car (again), hugged and kissed the kiddo's and started out.   I stopped at the park and got my walk in that morning before getting on the road towards Raleigh.    This was just over 4 hours and at one of the rest stops, I took a little power nap and then another walk to re-energize.   It has been a busy weekend and I arrived at Merrily's home tired.   In fact, I fell asleep on the couch before 10pm.

Merrily is a fellow dream coach and we've been roomies at prior trainings.   It was nice to meet her family and catch up with her as well as share insights on business development.

In the short time I was in Raleigh, we packed in a lot of stuff.    I especially enjoyed a 2 hour walk around Lake Johnson which nurtured both the body and soul.    It was great conversation and exercise.   That night, I met up with my friend Joel and his kids, at a high school LaCross game.   After the game, we all went down the block to eat dinner.    It was there that I failed miserably at "Name that Tune" on the cell phone.    I only self rated myself at a 15 from a possible 100 but Joel said I was far to generous and knocked me down to a 2.  Titles and artists have never occupied a lot of memory space for me.  Remember, I'm the girl who bought my first stereo for my 40th birthday.     It was really fun to spend a little time with Joel's family.
Later, Merrily and I watched American Idol and went out for a cup of coffee.  In the morning, I went with Merrily to her riding lesson.   It was the first time on my trip for me to pull out the art supplies.    The horse ranch was gorgeous and I got great pictures.   The pastels.. not so great... still fun to play with.   Merrily is a great rider and I enjoyed watching the lesson..... until.... the horse didn't clear the 2nd jump and my friend went sliding off and landing right on the rail.  OUCH!   Her teacher recommended red wine and a bubble bath for healing.  It was the first time since she was 10 that she took a tumble and I know she hated having an audience for it.   I must say, though, she got right back up on that horse and went back and took the jump again.   Bravo!!
