Day 139 - Silver Springs, WA (9/15) Harmony RV Park - Cloudy and rainy - just got caught up on stuff.
Day 140 - Vancouver, WA - RV Repairs
Day 141 - Drove to Seaside, OR on the coast.  Lots of farm land as we head over to the coastline of Oregon.  Saw some great singage today:  HILL BLOCKS VIEW - huh???;  ROCKS (oh thanks I wasn't sure what those were); TSUNAMI WARNING EVACUATION ROUTE - great that gives me a great deal of comfort; DIP - hey are you talking to ME?; and my favorite - CEMETERY/RECYLE CENTER - Really in one day, out the next?????  And, from the mountain areas - AVALANCHE AREA - NO STOPPING - oh, and I can't wait to stop and wait to be buried - ALIVE!!!!!

Day 142 - Today was a great sunny day and we decided to back track on the Highway 101 N and went first to Astoria where we went to the Columbia River Marine Museum (amazing) and then crossed over a 4 mile bridge back to WA state and up the coastline to the Lewis and Clark Museum and Ft. Clatsop (the winter encampment from 1805-1806)  the furthest Western most point on the Lewis and Clark Trail.  While we were in Astoria, we went to the Astoria Column which is etched concrete and depicts the history of frontiersmen who shaped the country.  So cool.  I climbed the 169 steps to the top to get a 360 degree view of Astoria, the Columbia River and Washington State.  Gorgeous.  Nick stayed down and waited!
